Got my MOTUC Rattlor earlier than usual, not from Matty, but from a He-man.org member! Its so frustrating how fast these figures "sold out"!  I remember the sale date, but I was just so preoccupied with work and by the time I got around to it, Rattlor was gone! Normally it takes a little over a month for me to get my day-of sale from Matty, but I got Rattlor within 2 weeks from a US seller! Mattel should really fix their shipping!

Anyway, not that impress with the figure, he would look 10x better with his armor. But I guess Mattel needs to sell more weapons pack in the future right? One thing to remember is to look for the Hoard armband, I almost threw mine out before I notice it in the package. Overall Rattlor is good, not great...must be because of those blue stripes! It would be nice if they put some articulation on the mouth, but overall I love "The General" from the 200x line a lot better!

MORE THUNDERCATS HOOOO!!!!!

Well decided to get the 6" Thundercats as well. At $6.97, the price was just too good to pass up!

Mum-ra is hands down the nicest of the bunch! I didn't like Panthro so much for some reason. Maybe because the one I got had some paint scratches....and the feet were a little warp on my figure.

Here's some size comparison:

For some odd reason, I'm liking the 4" figures more! Still missing a couple of the main figure...

....but fortunately I was able to get one of the more rare figure locally at clearance. Whee!

MOTU SNAKEMEN!

Collecting MOTU is really a draining to my wallet! They are nice figure...but I feel they are a little pricey especially if you factor in the shipping cost Mattel makes! August was a pretty light month with Laserlot, a figure I don't really like, but since Im collecting unique characters I decided to get him. For September I decided to skip Dragon Blaster Skeletor, its a figure I really didn't need except for the comic that came with it....and fortunately I found a Canadian collector who sold it to me for a pretty good price!

Really love the Mekaneck figure...but I wish they put some vach-metal finishing to the lense of his visor. The snakemen are awesome, my only complaint is the figure shipped with the snakemen holding their weapons. The paint came off when I took out the weapon.

BANDAI'S THUNDERCATS

I finally got myself some Thundercats figures after seeing them at a small discount store near where I live. I resisted the urge to get into the toyline earlier in the year, even when I was a huge fan of the new show. But seeing the basic figure for $2.97, and the Thundertank fofr $14.97, I realize I had to get them ALL!

And I decided to go with the 4" figures instead of the 6" line mainly because they completed the entire team on the 4" line.

I'm still missing a couple of figures and I might pick up the 1st version of Lion-O and Panthro if I see them.

Overall a great line, nice paint job, good articulation, so far I'm enjoying hunting these down!

YOUNG JUSTICE: HALL OF JUSTICE

Well after a long wait my Hall of Justice finally arrived! This is something every DC fan should have. I was tempted to get the old Super Powers Hall of Justice, but I think the Young Justice C&C version is much much better!

Just lucky someone at the Fwoosh had the majority of the HOJ pieces and sold it to me at a very good price. I got the remaining 2 pieces at ebay, then about a month later I saw those exact 2 pieces locally for $10 each! I'm also tempted to get the Young Justice 3 3/4 figures, the sculpts are fantastic, and they don't have a problem standing up unlike the JLU figures. It's also the only way to complete the core YJ team that is, if you can find the expensive Artemis figure!

Got some deputy lantern as well...

I initially skip these figures when they first came out, but when they were marked down to $6, it was too good a price to pass up. The sculpt of the figures are pretty good! I also grab an Indigo-1 figure from DC Direct. DC Direct makes really good figures, fantastic sculpt, and I don't have a big issue with the limited articulation. The one thing I am bothered with is how weak their peg/joints are, the break very easily.

I really like it that they include articulation to the bandages in Indigo-1's arm, its a nice touch.
