Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

I don't do toy hunt since moving to Toronto. Retail stores here mostly stock up on Joes, Star Wars and Transformers toy, which I'm not really a big fan of. At the Walmart where I usually buy grocery, they often bring in several case of the new TMNT figures. With a quick price match, I decided to grab these figures at around $9.50 tax included.

The turtles are really nice, good amount of articulation...the other guys not so much.

As articulated as the Turtles are, Marvel Legends figures still have more articulation.

The scale of the figures aren't that bad either. I think the turtles can be displayed with MOTUC or DCUC figures, but Shedder is a bit on the short size.

Shedder is a good figure, even with the minimal articulation on the feet. My only complaint is the one I got had a really loose elbow. His right foot also isn't flat, so you have to display him like he's walking.

Metalhead has the same problem, his left foot isn't flat...but its not as noticeable as Shedder's.

His feet is also hollow underneath.

Overall I'm happy to have gotten these, they are very affordable and easily available in most shops. I'll just need to hunt down a Splinter and April figure and I'm probably done with the line.

LADY DEATH STATUE EX FROM SIDESHOW

After seeing the promo pictures for the new Red Sonja  statue, I decided to pre-order it! Then it got me thinking of backtracking the old Lady Death premium format statue! Lady Death is one of my favorite comic from Chaos comics and I originally pass on the statue because I already have the one from CS Moore. I decided to finance the statue by selling off some of my original comic art and some of my chogokins!

Shipping only took about a week since it was sent via priority shipping...had to pay taxes of course, but was so excited to finally get a new statue after 2 years!

Upon opening, I notice a big paint scratch on the base. I'm hoping the seller would replace this defect, since he never mention the damage in his auction.

The statue is fantastic, really love the smell of a new statue! I decided to just put the sword since it looks more menacing :)

Had to put her on the bottom of the shelf. Not sure how strong the detolf would be. Currently still rearranging my shelf...but might put back the Buffy statues on display previously

DCIE MONSIEUR MALLAH AND THE BRAIN

As a big Teen Titans fan, I was really happy to get this set from Mattel. However, Im not thrilled that they charge an extra $8 for shipping this figure, and worst, they made a wrong declaration on the package and I had to pay an extra $25 on tax just for this figure!!!

The sloppy paint job didn't help matters either!

The gun was cast in red plastic, then painted.

I'm a bit torn with getting figures from Mattel. I really love the MOTUC and DCIE stuff they have been doing, but the shipping prices is just beyond ridiculous! I'm really glad I don't get as much toy from the other companies because my budget is mostly allocated to these guys on a monthly basis!

YOUNG JUSTICE INVASION 6" BATMAN FIGURE (MATTEL)

Originally I gotten a loose Batman figure from a China seller, but when there was an opportunity to get  the base from a US seller, I went for it, and I'm glad I did!

Really wish they continued this line! Would have been nice to have the entire team.

The diorama and the gas pellet accesory is really nice. The diorama is also pretty huge, its one of those display pieces that I just had to get. I'm going to pass on the Kid Flash diorama in the meantime, shipping to Toronto for the box is just too expensive!

The base is just hollow on the back...and the plastic is quite thin! Sure hope this isn't the plastic quality we will get with Castle Grayskull.
