Got my set today, had to get this via ebay! I dunno why these companies have to make it so hard for customers to get their merchandise! Sigh! Well, overall I like the set, it's very ...shiny, Archangel's wing is shiny, Wolverine's claws are shiny, heck even Psylocke's face is shiny! I'm definitely gonna keep the box, the graphics are fantastic and the box is sturdy! The sculpt of the figures are superb... far superior to the toybiz version. I'll probably hold off buying the other figures in their regular colors, like Archangel since I still have the toybiz version. Overall, a fantastic set, I just wish I didn't have to pay twice of what's it really worth!

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE CLASSICS PART 1
Masters of the Universe Classics is one toyline that I always wanted to get into ever since I saw the actual figures at SDCC, but after getting the initial King Grayskull figure, I decided to pass on collecting the figure. At $20 plus $9 shipping, the figures just cost way too much. Then earlier this year Mattel decided to sell some of the MOTUC figures at 30% off, so I grab some of the core characters thinking that was it. 2 months ago 2 collectors from the Fwoosh decided to sell their MOTUC collection for a really decent price, and I totally jump at the opportunity! Since I gotten most of these figures loose, there are some accesories that I'm still missing, but overall Im happy with the purchase. Getting these figures at less than retail and having them ship out as a lot was terrific!
And here are some of the figures that's still in the box.
...to be continued!

SIN CITY Nancy custom 1/6 figure
This was my first attempt at kit bashing a 1/6 figure which
I did a couple of months ago.
Here’s the recipe:
Head – Toybiz Invisible Woman
Hair and Body – Hot Toys female Caucasian figure
Hands – Hot Toys Alice
Chaps – ZC Girl Rebecca
Belt – custom via Stevos Toys
Guns - via ebay
This really took a couple of weeks to put together, painting
the head alone took around 4 hours!
Looking at it now I can see some flaws in
my work, and I wish I use a different materials for the tassel instead of using
ribbons (which is too stiff). I might get back one day and fix this ...when I can
find the time.

Young Justice 6" Figures from Mattel
The Young Justice cartoon is FANTASTIC and I'm glad to have these figures in my collection. Its just a shame that the toy line was cancelled. Bad pricing, not to mention it's pretty hard to come by particularly outside the USA.

The Good Girl Art of Bruce Timm Naughty And Nice
As I was finalizing my order from Amazon, I came upon this Bruce Timm book.
This really caught me by surprise as I had never heard of this book nor seen it at any from the conventions I go to. At $50 cover price, I got this for $30 at Amazon, a really good price for a books that's a little over 300 pages! The book has little to no text (except for the introduction), it mostly has full page illustration! Here are a few interior pages:

and yes, these are some of the less provocative illustations! I highly recommend this book for fans of comic art. The only downside to the book is it doesn't have any sort of interview with Timm, not even a photo of him. I guess I'm going to have to track down the Twomorrow's Modern Masters book for that!
